[Movie] Where is Mr Right?

If I would recommend Nollywood movie productions without even watching it yet, Funke Akindele's movies will be one out of the few I'll mention. She has always proven to deliver the best over the years and has never disappointed for once.

Where is Mr right is actually a movie to watch for every single person looking out for one thing or the other and not even about searching for a spouse alone. Although, the movie is about finding a husband to marry but then, in the real world, it can also be another thing that we are desperately willing to have but yet to have it and we so much want it badly that we could go to any extreme just to get it.

Where is Mr Right is a movie about a young lady who is in her late 30s, about to clock 40, who has 2 younger sisters who are married and with kids already but yet, she remains single. With societal pressure and personal desperation, she bent on getting into a relationship at any cost and getting married. Although, she want to be loved and marry right as well but the patience seems like it's becoming too long to bear and it's really understandable seriously.

The movie clearly state how one could land in serious trouble that would even jeopardize the expectations of what you've been hoping to have. It shows how a perfect marriage outside in the sight of the general public can be a hell on the inside. It shows how being a marriage counselor or motivational speaker doesn't guarantee having a peaceful home or building one either.

The story may not be really original but there are so many twist to it. It wasn't predictable, the visuals were cool, every scene had the actual timing and action it needed with no unnecessary dragging to make the movie longer and the emotions that run with the movie isn't necessarily the one you need to cry like a baby but may just come naturally if you've once experience delay in getting whatever you wish to have before especially when Bunmi was beaten up by Tega's wife, was uploaded on the internet, and she was visited by her dad and sister, only to be scolded by them for dragging herself into mess because of a married man of which was unknown to her because of her desperation to get married.

It was a story of emotional instability, expectations, marriage myths and lessons to be patient however late it may seem to be instead of being desperate.

Femi and Bridget were lovely couples in the estate, a role model to so many but unfortunately have an abusive marriage behind the scene of the public.
Bunmi later got into the mess of helping out Bridget and her brother Dexty, who was supposed to be Bunmi's new fiance but killed Femi, Bridget's husband in the process of defending Bridget against domestic violence, by bringing Femi's body into her own apartment after failed attempt of taking the body out of the estate by Bridget and Dexty. Event turned out bad as the estate had to break into Bunmi's apartment after an unusual odour in the estate and unfortunately the two siblings had it all turned over Bunmi as the culprit of the crime.

Where is Mr Right is a movie to be watched by every single ladies who is ripe enough to be married but yet to, every expectant mother who is yet to conceive and whatever way you might be needing or hoping for something. You really need to see the movie because you really need to see how it ended.

If Bunmi was later vindicated or had to bear the cross of crime committed by Bridget and Dexty, if Femi was really the abuser in the marriage or not, and how Bunmi's life ended up to become.
