Yes oo. Prayer is important, but it should go hand in hand with action. Bible even say faith with out work is dead. Also prayer without work is useless. If someone feels unsafe or is experiencing abuse, asking for help from trusted family members, trusted friends, or even the authorities would be a necessary thing to do. No one should have to suffer in silence while hoping things will change on their own.
