I don’t think this is an addiction of any sort, in-fact there is a big difference between being addicted to something or someone and being a good fan/lover of something or someone. They might be tied to the same string but then they are very different from each other. This is what i have been trying to explain to my friends for weeks now but then they aren’t listening to me neither do they want to understand that i am not addicted to this particular person, i just love him and enjoy his roles in all his movies, mainly because I’m a lover of love and romance, and his movies does justice to both things…

I am a well known movie lover, this is one thing i make known to every of my friends be it new or old, i let them know I’m a big lover of movies, especially korean dramas, bollywoods and now nollywood movies which has been added to the list thanks to my favorite nollywood actors and actresses, the likes of; Maurice Sam, Clinton Joshua and a couple of other interesting female actresses like Sandra Martins, Sonia Uche, Chioma Nwaoha, Ruth Kadiri, Sophia Alakija and lots more…
These actors and actresses made me a fan of nollywood movies with their exceptional love and romance acts, i am a lover of love so I automatically gravitate towards any genre of movies that has lots of love and romance, and that’s because I know love is a beautiful thing and a great feeling…
The fact that i am a korean drama lover as well as a once upon a time lover of Zee series are two things i don’t hide from the public. I love movies a lot because they inspire me as a person and as a writer. Whenever I’m experiencing a writers block, watching movies automatically makes me feel better, it gets me back on track and for that reason I don’t joke with my movies. I watch them anytime and anywhere, be it in a wedding or in a commercial transport, as long as I have my AirPods or earphones with me i will be fine and good to go…
I have gotten different nicknames because of my extreme love for movies and series, as long as these movies and series inspire me to write, i won’t stop watching them. I think i should get some movie glasses made to protect my sight from screen time effect. It’s never too late to get one as a movie lover…
The reason why i am enjoying these movies and series now is because I have lots of free time at hand. I haven’t gone to school yet so i decided to use the remaining days of this year to see as many movies possible. Next year will be different as i will be joining the tertiary institution by then, which automatically means i will have to cut down on my movie time and create more reading time…
There is time for everything, i am not a movie addict and i am not addicted to Maurice Sam in particular. I just love movies in general because they are a great source of entertainment and inspiration to me, Maurice Sam is an exceptional actor so his movies are always my top 1 favorite, this is not addiction, it’s just me enjoying his acting skills…
In summary, there’s a big difference between loving a person for a reason and being addicted to that person. The fact that i watch other movies that aren’t starred by Maurice Sam is a clear evidence of me not being addicted to him. I see movies acted by other actors and actresses, as long as it is filled with love, romance and beautiful actors i will be fine with it…
In conclusion, i saw 3-4 movies of Mauric Sam’s yesterday, it was a back to back thing as there were some newly released movies on his YouTube page, so I devoted yesterday to clearing them out. If you are a fan of nollywood I think you should see Crazy about you, Hearts in tune, My soulmate and The bride, these movies are starred by him and with different actresses, it’s nice, sweet and funny. You’d love them…
