My 2025 So Far...

It's the 17th of January, I celebrated my birthday 3 days ago and I could feel the new journey is about to start getting interesting with God on my side. One of my New Year's resolutions, even though I didn't write it down, is to go have fun in the city of Lagos with my two friends, one of which is my childhood friend while the other became so close through my childhood friend.

Around November last year, I'd talked it through with my friend about my plans to come to Lagos while we have a get-together hangout just to reminisce, gist, and thank God for life since we had seen each other in almost 3 years now.

I was ready to foot all the bills as I told her to prepare a list of all the things we would need so I could forward the money to her while she get them ready. Unfortunately, the other friend called recently to inform me of her inability to show up with some excuses; of course, I understand her, but my childhood friend laughed when I told her because she said she was expecting such from her.

Both of them aren't on talking terms as before, and my plan was to reunite us together and keep the friendship revived, but since things have turned this way, I had to reshuffle the plan by making it just the two of us, so my goal of celebrating with her won't get ruined.

So far, I'm now in Lagos, and by the weekend, we plan to attend a game event in Lekki. Before the game would start, we would branch somewhere to enjoy ourselves while we talk about lots of things. I have a lot to gist her and I believe the same with her and I can't wait.

That's one of my resolutions this year which I am excited would be a success.

Another goal of mine is to get a solar this year. When @moremoney28 and I talked about this last year, it has been in my mind to work towards it, too, and I am still working on this. The thing is, I'm actually waiting for a job, and once I get that, my location would be fixed, and that would make the goal to be achieved and not rely on any electricity. My sister had promised to send the funds anytime I am ready, that is if I can't get the complete funds by then, and all I would just do is start paying her later.

So also is the goal to be more conscious and serious about my spending. I want to be more mindful and intentional about the investment platforms I am into so that by the next 6 months, I should have gathered a substantial amount that will be fetching me great interest.

I believe this year would be another great one where everything I'd planned would come to fruition by God's grace. I love to be proactive and also to remind myself that it is only through God's mercy all of these can be achieved, so I am waiting for the beautiful things of the year 2025.
