God surely knows how to create some people perfectly, while some people are not perfect at anything. And yet we can’t question His work or what He does with everything He created.
I have so many things I don’t even learn, and I am doing them perfectly without anyone putting me through or telling me what to do or how to do them. I don’t know why I am like that because all I just need to do is look at it once from someone, and then I am good to go whenever I want to do it.
I have so much handwork, and I don’t just learn it; I just upgrade what I can do so far so that if later I want to consider doing it, I could have some certificate to show for the work and, of course, to also know what’s trending in that skill.
Hairdressing was one of the things I never learned that I could do correctly, conveniently, and of course easily as well without anyone telling me what to do.
I remember some years back when I first got to Lagos, I was always indoors because my sister hadn’t found anything for me to do, and there was a hairdresser in the house, so I always went to her shop when my sister was not around so that I could help her even though I am not perfect like her.
She doesn’t know how to do the didi hairstyle, which I could do beautifully, so anytime she has a customer for the hairstyle, she would call me to come. I remember someone asking me how I learned the style because she has been trying to learn it, but she didn’t know how to go about it even after someone tried teaching her.
I told her it was a gift because I only saw how to do it once, and I tried it out on my junior sister’s head, and it came out beautifully, so I didn’t stop practicing it until it was so perfect that I could do it for a stranger and get paid.
Another thing I could do is retouch hair for someone; big braids—those hairstyles are simple to me, and that was why I could do it after seeing it once from someone who is good at it.
So after seeing what the hairdresser woman did in her shop, I would practice it on my elder sister’s head. I remember sewing dreadlocks for her, and she took them to work. After some days, two of her colleagues called me for home services, and that was how I knew I could learn from the hairdresser to perfect my skills since I had the idea already.
I lost one of the customers because I was scared that I might not do the hair well since I am not a professional, but my sister pushed me to do the other one, and I tried my best even though it wasn’t as perfect as it should be, but the person loved it, and I got paid for the hair, though the pay wasn’t much anyway.
Then I realized that some people are just talented from Heaven, and that’s why they can do anything when they want to do it consistently.

You’ve got a beautiful skill my dear. Hairdressing skill is one that I think I just know the basics but when it comes to the real job, count me out.
Nice piece my dear
Lol 😂 if you don’t know the basic you can’t understand the real work
So I am sure you can handle it if you give it a try
