Jeju Island: My holiday destination

Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome πŸ€—

There are plenty of different places in different countries on my travel wish list that I would really love to visit if given the opportunity, but the moment I saw this prompt, only a particular dream destination popped up in my head.

Maybe it is because that is one of the places I used to hear about in kdrama.

So if money were not a problem and I were to visit a particular destination this Christmas, that place would be Jeju Island in South Korea; probably I would choose a different place if I were asked this same question in 2025, but for the year 2024 this would be my answer.

I got to know about this place while watching Korean dramas; I noticed how excited they usually get whenever they are given a free air ticket or planning a trip to this particular destination, not to talk of how beautiful the place actually is, so my curiosity got the best of me, and I was forced to browse about it.

Why I would choose Jeju Island?
The first reason I am choosing this island is because of how South Koreans have made it very popular in their movies, and this has made me fall in love with its surroundings.

Just the same way, if I were to visit the Philippines, I would love to visit Cebu, Manila, and Pampanga because of how much they talk about this place; I also wish to experience what makes it special.

I want to be in that environment, savor the pleasure of its surroundings, feed my eyes to the beautiful attractions around, and enjoy myself while being entertained by nature's finest and eating different delicious delicacies.

Jeju Island is a home of natural wonders. Located off the southern coast of South Korea, Jeju Island is a stunning volcanic island and a popular vacation spot. It is home to some of the top attractions and experiences.

One of the reasons I kept this destination on my travel wish list is because Jeju Island has its own international airport, with flights from major Korean cities and some international destinations. You can also take a ferry from the mainland.

I can't imagine how I would feel getting up on a beautiful morning to an environment that's surrounded by a lush green countryside with the warm sunrise rays peeking through the glass window, gently warming my pretty face, as I smile and take in a deep breath, inhaling some sweet, fresh air.

The island also has a teddy bear museum. I saw in a movie I can't remember the title; I would love to visit the site to get to see and feel those adorable teddy bears.

The island has a place where people can watch the sunset, its beach, and also the lovely and beautiful Maze Land theme park. This particular place was featured in the movie titled The Legend of the Blue Sea.

That sounds like a magical place. Interesting how it's kind of a normal experience for people living there. Had only heard about Seoul before. Wouldn't you want to visit there as well?
