RE: Sam’s Hangout #106 - “GOOD FRIDAY THOUGHTS”

First off, I believe this is the time to remember/reflect on the sacrifice of Christ, how he has choosed to love us and forgive us.

Well, that was how it was while I was till growing up, it goes beyond just a date and all of that, but at the moment it's no longer like that, not as if I've lost my faith but then I feel the real message of good Friday is no longer reflecting in how most of us live, I am saying that because a lot of us are now so focused on our struggles, how to survive, how to make ends meet and all of that, so it's begining to feel more symbolic for most us....
As it is now, most of us just posted on our status and just go about our day, while some of us didn't even post anything about it because we are so busy trying to hustle and survive and the deep meaning behind good Friday which is love, forgiveness, sacrifice and all of that is most times not remembered during the course of the day....

Personally, I do not hold much to Good Friday, unlike when I was still growing up. Things seems to be a bit better then, so we reflect, see it as sacred and try to adjust our lives and doings to the Christ like nature. But today it's not like that anymore, even though I still try to create some minutes to reflect and think of His finished work on the cross and how I can become more kind, loving and forgiving. ...which to be honest with you, I haven't have the time for it today sef 🥺🥺
