THE TALENT I NEVER LEARNED FROM ANYONE

At the age of 12, I visited my friend's mom's salon, when a customer played a video on using wrappers to style dresses, inspiration struck and I couldn't explain where the ideas came from, I took wrapper from my friend's shop, and started styling it, creating even more designs than I saw in the video. I was surprised by my creativity. I wasn't taught it came naturally.

You know, sometimes 24 hours could look so small that you begin to wonder if the clock ran a full cycle of 60mins makes an hour or that it skipped few hours and the whole world didn't notice, lol.
Well, that was the very situation I found myself in on July 4, 2025. How can I forget the date? It was my birthday, for crying out loud!

24 Magical Hours of My Life

Although I was nervous about the scholarship announcement, there's been no further information to date. What happened? First, I ate, and the food I'd been fantasizing about since lunch: fried food, stir-fried shrimp, and tofu fritters. This was the food I imagined.
Then, we chatted for a while and played with my senior children. Then, not long after, I was offered a job. It wasn't long this time, but it was enough for my younger sibling and me. Finally, I got back to my activities. Miraculously, I got a job.

For this week, we want to get talking about The Brotherhood. Founded by @raymondspeaks, and backed by a powerful community here on hive, the Brotherhood tokens boasts as one of the most successful projects on Hive with tokens like BRO, LEGION, CINE, and recently GIFU. Ray brought a radical change to the community this year by embarking on what we would call a 'Reset'.

For this week, tell us what you know about the Brotherhood community. Do you even know such a community exists on Hive?

Hive Naija 2nd Anniversary Winners

We announced the Hive Naija Second Anniversary contest where we invited all Nigerians to come share with us things they would likely do for their immediate environment. The Prize was pool 50 Hive for the best three. However, we have added 10 more Hive to the mix, so 20 Hive each for the best three.

Both the parents and the children in my community have this kind of a lackadaisical attitude towards learning and this act is really drawing everyone in the society backward.I could remember the teachers begging some of the students to come and write their promotional examination...I decided to move round the classes to meet with all the students telling them the need for them to change and turn a new leaf towards their primary assignment which is teaching, and to my surprise, some of them starting from the following day changed for better. @ellizy	When ever it rain in my community,we practicaly have to swim or walk in stagnant water before we get to the bus stop. It usually become difficult for people with car, motorcycle or autoristure(tricycle) to drive out making a lot of people stranded and unable to go to their place of work or appointments...I intend to build more drainage system to the already existing ones and also clear the already blocked ones making sure that all the waste water goes straight into the canals instead of it flowing in to and flooding the street while creating unwanted swimming pool for all.	HN-ANNIVERSARY COMMUNITY DRAINAGE SYSTEM.

Hive Naija Moving Forward.

Hive Naija was created for the sole purpose of assisting the Nigerian community especially on Hive. Our vision is to reach out to the Nigerians here on the Hive blockchain and also with time, our community without.

For this to become a reality, we have had to take bold steps. Steps that might seem confusing and may not make sense at the moment but will in time. There are very few words I can use to describe the stage process we are in, but what I have I give.

Our Weekly Prompts will still hold as it is. However, the system will change. Stay tuned and check in every Tuesday for new prompts. We would also be bringing back the reward system. Our vision is to help Nigerians on Hive, this new phase of our story demands we start with as little as we have. So, there would be winners like always, this time it would be more than just mentions.
