RE: Sam’s Hangout #107 - “SPACE MISSIONS vs EARTH NEEDS”

In my honest opinion. What I believe in is that no matter what we do, no matter how massive the funding might be, if put into the urgent need and problems on earth, there will always be another problem no matter what they do. Problem goes, another problem will come. And as far as NASA program is concerned here, those going to the moon definitely have a purpose of going there and it's not just for play. And don't let us forget, going into space is what brought about some of the technologies we have today like weather forecasting even though it's not always accurate. And some of us who love watching football or hearing news around the world, going into space and putting a satellite thier made it possible and I can also say and a lot of better technologies have been gotten through it. And from what I heard, the budget for NASA is not even up to 1% as people think as some might think it cost. So In the real scene of it, I will say it's like 30/70 because going to space has given scientists a lot of solutions to some problems here on earth.

You nailed it sir...
Talk of the way the weather is being tracked and even some of the medical tools being used today are a result of space exploration.
