MY LOVE FOR THE GIANT OF AFRICA IS SECOND TO NONE... Nigeria my country

(edited)

Changing locations and living in a new environment is usually not easy; one will have to try and adjust and adapt to so many new things. I believe in every country there are beautiful tourist sites and rich traditions to learn and enjoy.

However, as someone who enjoys travelling, I would not mind living my life just touring the world. I have a bucket list of countries I would love to visit some day. As for where I would love to live, I will always choose NIGERIA any day, any time.

I still love Nigeria despite the current situation in the country. It is truly the giant of Africa because we are not just blessed with natural beauty but with so many natural resources, such as crude oil, coal, various types of precious stones (sapphire mined in Kaduna, Plateau, Taraba, and Bauchi, topaz mined in Jos and Nasarawa, zircon mined in Plateau and Kaduna, among others), to mention just a few, beautiful tourist sites across the country, good weather, a very fertile land for great agricultural productions, and a weather that is not extreme and free of natural disasters.

And the people?
Nigerians are very loving and accommodating people. We are very hardworking and industrious people. Nigerians are smart, talented, and creative. As a result, we have been able to showcase all these not just within the country but worldwide. When it comes to music, comedy, entertainment, our arts, and creating unimaginable things through improvising (Nigerians can practically use anything to improvise) and so much more, we are making waves on a global scale. I can also say we are the happiest people in the world; we still smile in the face of challenges, and we always find a way to not let challenges weigh us down. You cannot be sad in Nigeria and not see something on social media that will put a smile on your face.

When it comes to traditions and rich cultural heritage, I will say our diverse ethnic groups in the country have really contributed to our rich cultural heritage. Most of the ethnic groups have special festivals that are celebrated annually, such as the new yam festivals, the Calabar,Lagos, Abuja, and Jos carnivals, the famous Argungu fishing festival, and the Ilorin Durbar festival, among others.

Nigerians are known for the life of the party; anything that involves celebration, we are always ready.
Our variety of traditional attire is irresistible, from the Ankara to the Asooke, and the Adire is fast growing in the fashion industry. We now see people from other parts of the world purchasing them.

Have you had any of our varieties of delicacies? Nigerians have one of the best, if not the best, mouth-watering delicacies in the world. I am yet to leave the shores of my country, but from what I have read and heard, Nigerian delicacies are served in every country in the world. We have a variety of delicacies due to our diverse ethnic groups. Every ethnic group has special delicacies ranging from soups, vegetables, local snacks, swallow, porridges, cereals, bushmeats, and even local beer that are peculiar to each ethnic group.

I have had the opportunity to travel to about 19 states within the country, and from my little adventures, it dawned on me that Nigeria is the place for me; indeed, we are truly blessed. In my next life, I will sure choose this country and my state (Plateau State) over and over again.

Thank you for coming to my blog🤗.

Putting our shortcomings as a people aside, I think we are a special breed of humans with our level of resilience, strength, and hard work. On top of all that, we have a land that's so rich in resources, and we have beautiful cultures and traditions.

I'd like to remind you, however, that the community only accepts photos from knows free-sites like unsplash, pixabay, and pexels. Only the first image here complies.

Everything about our country is blessed but corrupt leaders are the one killing us and making life miserable for the citizens because Nigerians are hard working and the most happiest people in the world

If only we have leaders who are selfless and care for the masses. I pray we get it right soonest.

Nigeria is one country that we cannot fully explore, the much we know is a little of many untapped resources. The people are wonderful, strong and hardworking. I'm equally blessed to be a Nigerian

That's true, I believe someday we will chase out all the corrupt government officials and the country will be great.
