“Maybe I would have joined this blockchain long ago.” Such was the thought that crossed my mind at some point while in this space, after seeing the goodness and potential of the blockchain. Today, I find myself trying to admonish almost everyone close to me to become a part of this great platform called Hive. Well, some obliged, while for some, it was just another scheme meant to waste their time. So, I guess at least.

Safe to say that the Hive blockchain has become a wonderful part of my life today. From small to major reasons, it's become one that perhaps would last through the years as a part of life still. I've seen and benefited much that it will remain part of my endeavours for a long time. And I must certainly be grateful to my friends who encouraged and persuaded me into joining this blockchain that has become than just a Web 3 space for me.
One who has been in this space for some time could say a lot about it, from little to weightier things. I surely have my share to say, regarding how it has affected some perspectives and created some connections.
How has Hive changed my perspective? Well, I've been a part of some online and possibly Web 3 stuff. All for some good measures. However, they proved to be a waste of time, and schemes that were an energy waster as well. Now, to say that there could be a platform, a blockchain, a space where the skills I possess could be appreciated and rewarded, all free, with no registration fees? That's a total game changer and a whole new orientation.

Perhaps, it's part of the reasons some of my friends didn't care to opt in. Seems unbelievable, perhaps. But this gave a shift to my perspective, showing there are still good things out there, ready to appreciate and reward one's skills and talents.
I've been into writing for some time, though still growing. It was something I discovered but found little platform to show it forth. Thankfully for Hive, I've written quite a good number of posts. This was one of the things that made the idea of joining this blockchain enticing to me. The “no AI and plagiarism” rule was also a good one. I've always appreciated originality in this writing thing rather than the “copy and paste.”
Joining the Hive blockchain also gave me the privilege to connect with people far from my part of the world in real time. It's good to know that someone in a distant part of the world is connected to me, takes time to go through my content and gives a resounding, wonderful feedback, capturing how they felt about it. I mean, that would be one of the joys of every creative, right?

Through this medium also, by this connection Hive has provided, I get to experience a bit of the life and culture of some of the connections I have in this space. That's an added knowledge to say. Learning and improvement in writing skills have also occurred in this space for me. All due to the connections Hive has created and provided.
The Hive blockchain has been great and has impacted me in these various ways and beyond. It's still doing that, and with the flow of time, it will be a continuous impact I believe, from one measure to another.
If no be say I don promise myself not to be tied down to what ifs, I for still dey cry say I wish i join this blockchain since.
It is not easy trying to convince people to hop on this as a lot of people feel that anything that does not require physical hardwork is either a scam or not worth the time. My own siblings self call it a lazy man's job🤣🤣🤣
I am happy that you were able to benefit quite a bunch from your little time here.
