Most people just show the reflection during times like this and when it's over, they go back to their old times both Muslim and Christian. During Ramadan,I see guys that smokes and so all sort of things putting on their prayer attire and going to mosques same as Christian observing their as well but that's all just for the moment.
I'm observing Good Friday today by not eating animal that has blood as we've always practiced for childhood but sitting and reflecting like reading Bible and sort cannot happen because I dey work as I dey type like this, country hard,man must survive.

You are right. The meaning of these religious holidays have become lost over time and it's quite sad to see. Nobody treats them as they thought to and we wonder why we're declining as a people. I hope we become better, dear.
May I ask, please what's the significance of not eating animal that has blood on Good Friday? Anyway, hope you get your due rest today. Hugs.
