RE: Sam’s Hangout #106 - “GOOD FRIDAY THOUGHTS”

Hello 👋 🫂 friends.

It has been a surreal day for my family. Though, we celebrate this day differently.Growing up as a child with my parents, we were taught to live our lives as if to say we are dying that day. Meaning that you dont wait for a Good Friday to reminiscent the sufferings and death of Christ on the cross to live right.

However, I do join my Sister to attend their church Solemn Assembly to reminiscent his deeds and the pasaion of Christ. Deep reflection about his sufferings and death are prohected.

Howwver, in this occasion, while i was conceentrating on the teachings, a middle agwd woman was heavily watching ahort films on Facebook distracting me. This forced me to report her when I couldnt take it any longer.

In summary, people are not really taking this things to heart deeply. Just on the peripheral. And it is a pity. The reason why evil is thriving. No deep sense of love and forgiveness. People living fake lives different from what Christ lived for.

May God help us to adjust 🙏

Woo, friend, Good Friday is always very important and emotional to me. Looking at it as a human, how could a young man full of live would have been dragged along and was killed just like that, it's painful.

Nonetheless, that was the plan of God through which we are saved today, myself inclusive.... It's ok, God's plan is the best plan for all of us.

Thank you for the mention, let me pen down my own voice!

You are correct. His death brought about a lot of benefits to us including salvation and freedom.
It is an emotional time ⏲️ for us.
Thank you for coming around
