Did you know that whenever you cry, not all the tears flow out of your eyes?

Have you ever wondered where the other tears go to?

Well, your eyes have a small hole in the eyelids called the lacrimal punctum(plural is puncta) that drains most of the tears into the nasal cavity(or simply the nose) hence the runny nose.
