A recent quote that I stumbled upon actually came to me in a funny way. I saw that quote as a movie title and it just sparked my interest. The quote is....
When life gives you tangerines......
And that is also the name of the South Korean movie title that I came across on my movie box app recently.
This quote can be said to be adaptation from the very popular when life throws you lemons...
I kinda resonate with this quote Inna way because it expresses the uncertainties of life and helps my mind be ready to make a shift when and where necessary because life is not a bed of roses.
Many of us had high expectations from life while growing up but today, so many of us are yet to see that expectation materialize while some others have given up and settled for where they are right now, all expectations forgotten.
This quote, when life gives you tangerines is an open ended quote. It allows you to fill in the blanks as you would prefer. For me, I filled the blanks with, when life gives you tangerines, make a tangerine juice out of it or when life throws you lemons, make a lemonade.
This is so vital because I determine what I wish to do with the outcomes of life's ups and downs. Like a popular singer once sang in his very popular song ...
"I'm the world's greatest".
It doesn't matter where I am at right now. It doesn't matter what challenges I face. I'm the world's greatest" and so I'll make it to the peak....come what may*.

You’re very right. Life will come with its ups and downs but we have our choice to make in going for what pays us. We shouldn’t just lament on why life happened that way but to shift our focus to something more productive.
