If Hive Removed Rewards Today, Would You Stay?

A lot of people joined Hive Blockchains because of the rewards system that has been put in place. I understand it's not like the rewards are handed freely to people; you've to do something or basically share something of value to earn it, and that's why we've seen lots of people write posts and share their experiences and advice in the form of writing or video. Some even show their creativity and show vulnerability and get rewarded for it. But then seeing the way people are all over Hive, would that still be the case if the rewards system were removed? Will I personally still be here? Find out my response below.

I've never hidden the fact that what brought me to the Hive blockchain is my desire to make more money so I can meet my financial needs, and thankfully, Hive has been amazing through the years. But if perchance the rewards aspect of Hive was removed, will I still be coming here to blog as I used to on a daily basis? Before I respond to that, you need to understand I joined Hive when it was thriving and the value was on the rise; I saw it climb as high as $3+, and now that it's gone down to as low as 0.5 cent, I'm still here. Why is that so? The reason is because I've become so attached to Hive and also can't just leave a platform that saved me in my tiring time because it's not doing well.

Besides, I've made friends here, and they've been awesome. Alongside that, I also learn new things regularly here on Hive, and I know coming here will give me an opportunity to learn things freely that would have cost me a lot of money. Despite the fact that I won't be leaving if the Hive reward system is removed, I must say that I would most likely not be as consistent as I'm now because in my bid to find new means to earn, I'll need to dedicate my time to something else, and engaging in that will help me meet my financial needs.

So in a nutshell, while I would still be here on Hive blogging and reading other people's content, it's worth knowing that I won't be consistent as I am now, and the reason is, as I stated above, to find other means to earn. But I'll still come here to blog periodically and read other people's content, especially those who always share valuable information and helpful tips.
