The day I found out that someone was looking up to me. The moment that matters the most. I bring you pleasantries from this end. I hope everyone is doing just fine. Thank you for always supporting my blog. 💗 So the theme for this week says, Moments that matter. All my life I have always lived with carefulness; I mean, I try as much as possible not to make mistakes or do anything that could bring disgrace to my name and that of my parents, knowing where I was coming from.
I was really a church girl; going to church for me then was like going to bed 🛏️, and I noticed that anytime there are serious prayers in the church, during the prayers section, my pastor could always call me to pray. I always feel ashamed sometimes, though, so one day we went for a program, a sisters fellowship program, and in the course of the program, some teenage girls were asked to pick who their role model is, like who they would like to be like in the future. And from my parish parish, we were about five adults standing for them to pick; those teenagers were about eight, and guess what these girls did? They all picked me, and what they said about me really touched me.
They said they love my zeal to work for God and not also neglect myself. That moment meant so much to me. In as much as I was going to church always, I was looking good too. I got so many compliments back then, any day I don't go to church, 80% of my church member do noticed, the moment they said those words, I didn't even know what to feel like. I was just living my normal life the best way that I could, and then someone was looking up to me. Wow, no wonder I received gifts from people even without doing anything. Finding out I was a role model—that moment was something I hold dear to my heart. It was a moment that matters a lot to me, and anytime I remember that moment, I feel happy and proud to be that person, because I didn't fake it; it was real from my heart. And I'm grateful to God for bringing me this far. Thank you for stopping by.

Honestly being a role model to someone is a big responsibility which means the person must not do any mistake that will make the person looking up to them will also do the same. I love the way the girls picked you because I'm sure you didn't know that they were looking at all what you did.
