His words kept me going

Hello beautiful people, happy new week. It feels good to be here again. Back to the topic of the day. Which says. As a student, what keeps you going when you feel like giving up?

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. My dedication pays. There is this saying that says, "In everything you do, always do good because you never can tell who is watching you." An incident happened when I was in school that made me almost give up.

So when I was in my 300-level first semester, my foster father went broke, there was no school fees again to pay, and we were orphans, like no help from anybody. I just concluded that at this point I wasn't going back to school. On a normal day I would resume school the first week of resumption, and again I was a chorister in the FCS, and I was well known for my dedication in the fellowship.

I didn't even know that our FCS service secretary then noticed that I wasn't in school, knowing how I do resume school early, so he called me one fateful day to ask why I wasn't in school at that time since lectures had started. I told him I couldn't resume because I don't have school fees, and I have no hope of getting it from anybody. He asked for my account number and sent me money to resume first so we could talk about how I can get school fees.

After receiving the money he sent to me, I cried and thanked God for blessing me. So when I resumed, he gave me foodstuff and more money and even paid my fees—a story for another day. But I got my school and more. So the one thing that kept me going, was that he told me that I was too good to be a drop out. And he said I should know that my service to God is well noticed. And that made me not to give up. Dedication pays. Serving God pays. Thank you for reading through.

I invite my friends @ritaetim @nsigo1 and @phyna guys checkout this week hive students contest topic and share with us your views.

Indeed dedication pay. No one would have noticed you're not in school if you weren't dedicated. Glad God gave them grace to help

Wow. That was God indeed comforting you at that moment. There's no one who dedicate their time to serving God and it goes unnoticed. Great, your service was appreciated by God. There are times we feel like giving up especially as students but there's always that one thing that keeps us going. Thanks for sharing with us.
