HSCP: 1- What My Typical Day is like in School?

My typical day as a student starts quite early. I wake up around 5am to begin my day with prayers, thanking God and committing the day into His hands. After that, I carry out some house chores, like sweeping and cleaning up. Once I’m done, I take my shower and have breakfast to give me the strength I need for the day ahead. By a few minutes to 7am, I’m fully dressed and ready to leave for school.

To get to school, I walk down to the roadside and wait for a bus. Most times, I’m lucky to catch one that takes me directly to school without stress.

I always like to be on time because my first lecture begins at 8am. Immediately I arrive at school, I go straight to my General Studies class, which runs from 8am to 10am.

This course is my favorite. The lecturers who handle it are not only experienced but also very engaging. I enjoy every session because it covers real-life issues, history, culture, and other important topics that open my mind to new things.

During break time, I mostly go to the library.

I find it peaceful and quiet, just the perfect place to go over what I’ve learned or read new materials. The library helps me stay focused and improve in my studies.

After spending some time there, I sometimes take a walk around the school with my friends. We explore the campus, take pictures, and have little fun chats.

On one of those walks, I discovered the Sculpture Faculty. It was a beautiful and creative space filled with artworks, sculptures of people, animals, and other amazing designs.

I stood there in awe, admiring the talent and skill of the students in that department. It made me proud of my school.

Our final lecture usually holds between 1pm and 3pm. After class, if I’m still feeling active, I go back to the library to find materials for assignments or to study ahead. But on days when I feel too hungry or tired, I simply head home to eat and rest.

That’s what my typical day in school looks like, a mix of learning, discovery, and quiet moments.
