More Than Just Pictures: Moments That Shaped My School Journey.

Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today’s topic is from Hive Student Connect, and it says:Share a pictures. So let’s dive in.

Honestly, there are some pictures we randomly snap without thinking too much about them, but later they become more meaningful than we ever expected. That’s exactly what happened with this picture I took in LTB (Lecture Theatre B). It was during my 200-level second semester. I had just finished writing my exams that day inside the hall. The truth is, I wasn’t even planning to take a picture. In fact, that day I was tired because of the exam and just wanted to go back home since I wrote two exams back-to-back. As soon as we finished one exam, they brought the second one without giving us time to relax or even revise, but something just prompted me to turn back and snap the hall. If you look closely at the picture, you will notice that some students are still writing their exam.

At that moment when I took the picture, it didn’t feel special—just the hall where I wrote my exams. But now, looking at it, memories started rushing back. This is the same hall where I sat down with tension before exams started. I can never forget that day. I was scared because the exams I had that day were hard, and due to tension, I was already forgetting everything I had read, until my friends held my hands and calmed me down. This is the same hall where we used to receive lectures, where my friends and I always went to read and prepare for tests and exams. That hall is more than just a lecture hall to me.

The second picture is of my faculty building. Honestly, out of all the faculties in my school, mine is one of the most beautiful. It’s big, it has beautiful flowers everywhere, and there’s enough space. Even students from other faculties come around just to take pictures because of how fine it looks. That day, I snapped pictures with my friends while we were waiting in front of our class for our next lecture. I didn’t know I would ever write about it or that it would bring back memories like this.

And this is me and my coursemates taking pictures in front of our faculty after writing our last exam paper of 300 level. We were so happy because it wasn’t easy, and by next month, I will be going to 400 level when school resumes. The journey hasn’t been easy, but I bless God.

In conclusion, these pictures are more than just images saved on my phone. They remind me that every single day in school is part of a bigger story I am living.
