Unbelievable

‎After schooling in Nigeria ,we all know that the next step is always NYSC and my case was not different. I was enrolled for the national youth service. It was a bit fun during my service year, but one aspect of the service that was not that sweet is that, I was sent to a community that has no power supply, so charging of phone and other gadget was a serious problem. The only option that we had then was to be going to people's houses to power our gadgets. At times we wait there and take it back, some times we leave it and pick it up later.

‎One evening, we visited a particular compound to charge, although it was not our usual charging venue. We all plugged in our phones there and left. Behold when we returned to pick it up, everyone else saw the phone, when I checked where I plugged mine, I didn't see any phone, i only saw my charger ( At first everywhere blur 🤣).

‎I angrily left, reported the situation to the youth president and the community leader. I told them that if that phone is not seen in the next 48 hours, that i am traveling back home and that what so ever they will see, they should take it that way. I went back home , i was not really happy that night, but i managed to sleep. I had already called my elder brother to buy another phone and waybill to me. I had some of my alawee left, so i sent in some cash. I did this because i had lost hope of the stollen phone. I never believed that I will see the phone again.

‎But to my greatest supprise, the following morning, I was still on bed, I heard a knock on the gate of our lodge, I didn't respond. The next thing I head, was " sir come out ooo, we have seen your phone " , immediately I jumped off the bed, went and open the gate, saw some of the community boys, they handed over the phone to me. Mehn it was too real to be true. So unimaginably real. I asked them where the found it, they just told me on the ground somewhere, I didn't really want to push further because they I knew they would not want to disclose how they got it and maybe who they get it from.

‎I was a bit happy, although I had already sent in money for another phone. So I got the phone and thanked them. After some days my new phone arrived, and I had to sell the other one and replace the money. Seeing the phone again was so so unbelievable. But it was real.
