School days were always fun, stressful, and at times draining. Some days I would come home so tired, and some days I would return with joy and a smile. Some days I would come back very late at night, and on days when I had just one lecture, I would return early.

For me, a typical day in school and at home back then started with waking up early around 5 a.m. I would pick any of my books that I wished to read and go through it because I loved morning reading. After that, I would get up, dress my bed, sweep the room, then sweep the veranda and outside, brush my teeth, and sometimes gist with my neighbor or fetch water. On days when I didn't have early lectures, I would wash some clothes, read, or watch some movies.

After that, I would bathe, arrange my books, and move to school. My school was a bit far from where I stayed, so I would pick a bike because I didn't like sweating into the class in the morning. In school, if there was any assignment to submit, I would do that and attend the lectures scheduled for that day. Then I would wait for another class or move to the cafeteria to eat if I was hungry. Again, during my spare time in school, I would use it to submit some course forms or register for any course I had not yet registered. I would also sit with friends, especially in our physics lab which was always open, charge my phone, and watch some movies.

There were some days we had practicals, mostly on Tuesdays, so I would sit back until 4 p.m. to join the practical classes. After everything, I would stroll back home with some friends, and in cases when I was tired, I would pick a bike home. My typical day in school as a student was not far from this.
