Hive and Newbies.

‎As I keep saying every platform has its ups and downs and the highest that could be done is continue to fix them. Just as we all feel good whenever we buy new things , the same thing happens when you join hive and the very first day you cash out from hive. That day you will just know that, it's working and that it's not a scam. The reward is always motivating.

‎When I joined newly I didn't really trust the platform that much till the day that I was able to withdraw my token / reward and exchange it for my local currency, at that point nobody forced me to be writing and partaking in contests on the platform. And I believe every other newbies felt the same way but all of a sudden they started developing cold feet. And the question is why can't they stay ?

‎Now the first truth is, you must have passion for and love what you are doing, if not the very day you encounter any little challenge, you will quit. That's the same thing that happens in most blogging platforms not just hive. When you keep writing and the reward does not come the way you were expecting, then you might be discouraged. Some people finds it so difficult doing this writing of a thing on daily basis and at times it's not just because they don't like it ,but maybe there are other factors that contributes to it, just like busy schedule at work, poor power supply in their location etc. So when things like this sets in , the discoursment grows bigger.

‎Again, considering the fact the the level of reward they get now on hive is quite small compared to what was obtained back then, people who are not patient enough and lack some kind passion for it will leave. So the reward pattern also contributes to newbies leaving the platform after a while. Just imagine a newbie who joined the platform few months before they stopped rewarding via HBD. That means he or she might have enjoyed the HBD and everywhere was juicy but all of a sudden , they wake up one morning to see that rewarding with HBD has vanished and most of them struggle to get a good curation on their post , especially newbies who has not gained good influence on the platform. So when things like this sets in, they will run. But still, I believe hive will pick up again and we are still hoping for that day.

‎Furthermore, some newbies lack proper tutorship on how to navigate the platform, so when they gets to learn it alone and makes mistakes it becomes too difficult for them and they give up. So having a good coach or a community that newbies can easily stroll in and learn will also help.

Let me pause here and also read other people's point, because I know there are a lot.
