The Mix Of Campus Life.

The picture I had in my head before I gained admission was different from the reality I've had to live. I imagined a place where I would be very free, do stuff, go to parties, make lots of friends and make tons of memories. Well, I did make memories but most weren't the kind I had planned too.

Now, what can I say about campus life, I would say it is a mix of all. To be honest with you. Not bad if all that was said about it was a lie, no but it feels more exaggerated than it actually is. There are times I find myself going up and down just because I want to submit a file or go see a lecturer in his office while meeting his absence, there are times I go to school and wouldn't receive I single lecture throughout the day, a lot of times I've missed tests and lectures, not because I was having fun or playing around, but because there are important things to do and sort as well. I've seen times I would stand throughout the lecture just because the class is so filled and there's no space.

Not to even talk of the power outage I experienced throughout my stay in school, there was a time we had no light for almost a year. And the ones that even come once in a while don't last for hours, talk less of days. I also have broke days, days where I go so broke and not even have anything to eat. And there are days where I experience plenty and fun too. And all of those things I've seen and experienced make me say it's a mix of all, but somehow exaggerated.

And like I said, I have times when I have some funs too, times when we joke with a lecturers tonation, times when we laugh while having some random conversations and day's when we decide to touch on almost every school cafeteria and have a taste of their various meals. Even though a lot of us back out after attending a few, because we are going broke. It was fun though.

So, talking about campus life, it is definitely a mix of everything. Some days are lonely, some are fun, some just go without drama, some were stressful and some make your question why you even accepted the admission in the first place.

Campus life goes beyond/isn't just about having freedom and all of that, it's about going about and trying to navigate pressures, expectations and all of that. So, campus life is definitely a mix of everything. You would at one point or the other experience pieces of it all.....
