There is a person I deeply miss, someone who has had a lasting impact on my life in ways I will never forget. This person is my older cousin, who always seemed to understand me better than anyone else. We first met when I was a child, during family gatherings, and over the years, we developed a bond that was unshakable. Whether it was helping me with schoolwork, sharing stories, or simply sitting and laughing together, their presence always made life brighter.
What I miss most isn’t just their company, but the small, thoughtful gestures they would do. They always knew when I was having a bad day and would find a way to cheer me up, sometimes with a simple joke, sometimes with a heartfelt conversation. Their guidance shaped the way I approach challenges and taught me the value of patience and kindness.
Life has made it difficult to see them lately. Work and studies have taken us to different cities, and the distance has created a void that nothing seems to fill. Every time I remember the moments we shared—our long walks, our late-night talks, the games we played—I feel a mix of nostalgia and gratitude. Those memories bring a smile to my face but also remind me of how much I miss having them around.
I treasure the lessons they taught me and the joy they brought into my life. The time we spent together is unforgettable, and I hope that one day we will be able to create more memories. Until then, I hold onto those moments and let them inspire me to be a better person, just as they inspired me back then.
