Without rewards there is no significant reason to stay

Hive platform is the platform which we love most because it gives us the right to speak about our mind and at the same time it also allows us to earn some rewards. In fact, because of rewards, we can keep ourselves motivated as it gives us a sense of achievement. At least we can be sure we are not wasting our precious time just for nothing. There are many other things also that can give us reason to stay here. What if all of a sudden Hive stop giving rewards. Will I continue to remain active here without rewards? To make it understand I think you should know about the activity of my other social media.

Even before joining Hive platform, I have accounts in other social media like, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media. All of those were very popular 5/6 years ago like now but I was never so active in any social media just because I used to think those are the waste of my time. I only used to browse Facebook to follow some groups and pages related to my study and something related to science. On average, I used maximum 30 minutes on my mobile, but it was the time when my peers were busy using them. It’s because I was straight minded and I just avoided what is not related to giving me anything in return. Even during the time of pandemic situation, I didn’t waste too much time on social media. I use the time to read many pdfs of different books.

So, with a straight mind I always think about money at least for the present time. Rewards are the most important thing for me and there is nothing more important to me compared to the reward from the Hive platform. My first thought if there is no reward would be like leaving the platform and I think it’s quite natural for me. It doesn’t matter to me how much I like the platform; I won’t give a second thought to consider it as reward is the most important for me. But I won’t leave completely like the other social media platforms. Hive as a social media also have values. Let me explain why I won’t leave completely.

As a social media I think Hive is better than other social media even if it’s not so popular like those social media. In other social media I am not the true owner of my account, and the company or authority can restrict my actions but in Hive I am the real owner of my account, and nobody can restrict me to speaking up about my mind doesn’t matter others like it not. Here I have freedom of speech which can’t be found in other social media. At least I will remain active for a little time just for that reason.

Here I made many friends, and I think it’s also an achievement and I think that here I can share my thoughts here. As long as my friends read it and share their genuine thoughts, I may stay here but I strongly doubt that they will stay here till that time. So, it can also be reason to stay here but I am sure that the activity will decrease a lot for sure.
