MY SCHOOL HELPER

For real, some people are amazing. When I think about some people God has brought my way, I’m tempted to ask what good I have done to deserve them. I have met really amazing people in this life. It became a normal thing when I got into the schooling system. Coping through school is just by the grace of God and your circle - the people that you allow into your space. Life can be really difficult sometimes with different tasks here and there to complete, but with some people in your life, life becomes a little more bearable and worthwhile.

According to the question asked by the Hive student connect, WHO I WILL NEVER FORGET?, that will be a random person I met one day while trying to figure out what and how to complete my school clearance. I was a bit lost and stranded. She was too, but she was just willing to help and assist me. According to her, two heads are better than one. Despite the fact that she was still trying to find her way around everything, she didn’t mind doing that with someone rather than by herself. She guided me through the processes she was already done with, and before we know it, we were done with everything.

Besides that, she also helped me get settled with my other class schedules, and that made life really easy for me. She introduced me to my class representative and also showed me to people I can get materials from to keep myself up to date with all that has been happening. She was so happy to help, and it was all over her that she was glad she could help even when she was also looking for someone to help her and make life easier for her too. Well, after I was able to settle in, I was also able to help her with studying, and she was happy. But if you ask me, I’ll say she even helped me better than I helped her with studying, but at least we had each other to push us to do better.

As I mentioned before, having someone that we can rely on for something is a huge blessing that most times we take for granted. Till date, she always checks in on me from time to time to see how I’m doing, and that’s something that I can never forget even if I try. We don’t talk as we used to, but she comes to mind every now and then, and I’m just grateful to God for the gift of such a beautiful and reliable person.
