"How Do You Handle Creative Blocks?"

There are points in life where, as students, writers, artists, creators, we hit that junction where ideas just wouldn't come or maybe they stop flowing, and then, we pause, racking our brains to come up with the right formation of words. You sit, staring at your laptop or phone to complete a project, and nothing seems to come out. This is what we call creative blocks, also known as writer's block. We have faced those moments, and I don't think there's anyone who hasn't experienced it. Perhaps you haven't, then let's call you the great guru? Hahaha 😀

For this prompt, we want to know how you deal with creative blocks. Let's learn from you how you find ways to overcome those stuck moments in your life.

Think about a time you struggled with an assignment, writing, or even preparing for a presentation. What did you do to overcome it? Was there something magical you did? For example, some people would take a stroll to gather some ideas. For others like me, the solution lies in calming down, taking a short nap or taking a shower, which most times work for me. Another person would say they talked to a friend, and the magic worked. In fact, we have those whose answer lies in eating their favourite meal or just being in the kitchen. There are many ways to deal with creative blocks, and we want to know yours.

Some students beat writer's block by reading their favourite book or novel. Some listen to music. Guess what? Some scroll through Hive for inspiration. Are you the one? Please tell us! We all want to learn from each other. No one is an island, you know?.
