"Share a story of a friendship you built in school."

Many of us formed and built our friendships in school, and even after we've left, they remain connected to us; some become like family, and we are grateful for that. School isn't just about attending classes and learning, but also where we create memories with others.

This week's prompt wants you to share with us about the friend(s) you met in school, how you met, and what the circumstances were that surrounded your meeting. Was it dramatic or did it just happen?

Some met their friends in class (just like me), others in the hostel, in a group project, in fact, some friendships started at a Suya or Kunu joint.

For example, I met my friend after the end of the first lecture, and we were sitting outside waiting for the next class and boom, it began with exchanging pleasantries and numbers. It was a funny moment, too, for me.

Yours might even be that you forgot your pen during an exam and the person beside you gave you one of his, and the friendship took off after then. Most times, making friends starts in weird or awkward situations that look funny.

Please, share with us how this friendship has impacted your life, academically, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. Do you still keep in touch after graduation, and for those who haven't, do you think that after you graduate, you are still going to keep in touch?
