A Cup Of Confidence, A Turning Point For Me.

One of the background of the kind of secondary school I grew up in is the type where the teachers always showed favoritism not just to students who are their tribe but also student who are brilliant so they kept the rest of us who struggled for everything behind, so we had to also struggle to be noticed, to be shown love and to be accepted by the teachers we deem role model, so for today I would be discussing on moments that matters, let's make it count.

You know those moments when the teacher chooses to focus on that one student in class asking only them questions, asking for their consent on things, picking them out as examples for the rest to see, allowing their excesses Instead of apprehending them just like others so such scenario made us feel not just enough.

So a glimpse of light came in when a competition was announced because atleast it is an avenue for someone like me atleast, it was a debate that was going to hold between schools and luckily for me I was a pertime debate member so I had an opportunity to be chosen amongst those who would represent the school, all I had to do was just to bring ideas on the topic given and to cramp those points within two days.

I beat up time, did the home work and I was chosen which was really a big deal for me, we went there and brought back the cup even though it was the first position cup, so the next day when we were called upon during assembly to be congratulates I felt those applauds like a dream come through, I felt like I have achieved a big milestone so that became a big push up for me as I decided to join press club and debate club.

Those moments are indeed remarkable as I can't ever forget them, thank you for reading through, I can't love you guys less 🥰.
