The Invisible Santa

One Christmas ritual that was common in the past was Santa answering the wishes of children. This was the beauty of Christmas. Everyone has that secret wish, wishing and hoping someone or something will grant them. If an invisible being were to pose as Santa and ask that I wish for one thing during this Christmas, I wouldn't be in a rush to answer, because on my wishlist are numerous things that I want to achieve and I hope I'd sum it up into one wish.

Sitted in the cool of the day was an invisible being whose presence was felt by the movement of rust leaves. A few minutes into the disturbance came a voice asking me to make only but one wish. Just when the opportunity presented itself , I knew asking for just one out of my wishes still poses a risk in areas where I'm still lacking, I'll ask for the "kingdom of God". It sounds funny, but logically it may be the wisest decision based on the promises that's attached to this demand.

The Bible said, "seek first the kingdom of God and all other things would be added to you. Now the " other things " that would be added include everything I'm currently wishing for. The only condition attached to having the other things is to first seek the kingdom and if I have the kingdom, then I have no more worries on wealth, health, peace, security, wisdom, favour, connection, etc. it just comes effortlessly..

One might say the kingdom of God can be achieved even without a wish, but we all know our minds are so crowded with pursuit of our daily needs that we give little or no time to seek this. Besides, seeking God's kingdom during Christmas might be a good way to begin the new year. A man who has God at heart and everything he ever needed is added to him.

Complement of the season 🎉
