The Funniest Memory In School

I had a roommate in school called Patrick. The few things I knew about Patrick was that he was stubborn, strong, energetic, and always ready to assist. The most dominant of these traits was stubbornness and I believe it was because of his energetic nature. You tell him what to do and he does what he wants to do, not minding the consequences. He always had a way to manage through but unfortunately he had a bait on the wrong one. This is what happened.

On my birthday, my girlfriend in school baked me a cake and celebrated me in the little way she could. It was the first time anyone celebrated my birthday and I was glad. The cake that was left after the ceremony had icing that no one wanted to eat except my stubborn friend who believed he was above any disturbance the cake icing was to cause. So many times we warned him but he wasn't ready to listen. He ate it whenever his hands reached it, soaked it in garri as the sugar and he felt all good until the day it manifested.

My attire on our culture day

It was our cultural day in school, three days after my birthday. A hot purge visited my friend while dancing. When we thought my friend was displaying one of his styles by standing straight and stretching his entire body, nobody knew it was him trying to prevent faeces from leaking inside of his trousers. The instant profuse sweating made it more believable that he was putting his energy into the dancing, but my man was seeing hell trying to prevent himself from defecating. While he was doing his snake-kind of dancing as a Tiv guy and trying to keep up with the tension, he let out a loud foul(mess) and it was my white trouser this guy was wearing, I gifted him the trouser after that day Sha. We couldn't hold our laughter not knowing his guy did something in my trousers with that mess.

I didn't see him after his performance. I came back to the hostel and saw my friend with a wrapper, that he hadn't left the toilet since he rushed to the hostel. The purging persisted for 3 days and I couldn't stop laughing with the way he ran in and out of the toilet, and the entire display battling with purge during his performance. That day is still fresh, I bring it up sometimes when I feel like teasing him.
