Having a friend who stick by your side during good and old times is what we always wished for. They are always there to lend a helping hand whenever you’re down and listen to you whenever you speak.
A true friend respects and believes in your dreams and vision.
I am not the type of person who goes along with having a lot of friends because I never really had the opportunity instead I used my time to read and do other meaningful stuff not until I met a true friend who showed me the real definition of friendship.
Lekan is a tall dark handsome young man who lives close to my parent's house.
The first time we met we didn’t have anything interesting to talk about until we had our first hangout which was on my birthday. I never really planned on doing anything on my birthday because I don’t have any source of income and he came to my house to wish me I was surprised at how he knew my birthday then I remembered that was exactly the only thing we talked about on our first meeting and coincidentally we both are month mate.
At that time he had a job and he made my birthday memorable. This was the first time I’d be experiencing a friendly love, which grew our relationship.
As little as this gesture was I reminisce on it till date because he made that day a special moment for me.
A few months later I had accommodation issue and he was my only hope surprisingly he took me in without any stress and made me comfortable until I could conveniently get my own space not just that, he fed me throughout my stay at his place without any complaints. unfortunately, I could not repay him because his parent wanted him to complete his education outside the country but hopefully, I can do that in the near future.
in a world where relationships often come and go. true friends are very special they are the ones who stand by you and keep you going.
