Our Kind of Family Bonding-Hitting the Road, Visiting Places and Dining Out

Last day our family agreed to spend the afternoon and eat dinner outside. We actually plan to visit some places all the way to town which is an hour away from home.

It’s been a while since we got out altogether. Aside from the fact that spending time outside is costly we also don’t have a vehicle that would get us to travel together at the same time and it’s always advisable to travel using your own vehicle because of the limited transportation in our place.

We just have a motorbike but we need another one so we could go out altogether. Good thing, my father’s brother lent us his motorbike. We’re happy because that means we could just take our time and be able to go home even at late night. So, we started hitting the road and I’m proud that my younger brothers are already reliable drivers.

It’s really good to spend time together outside once in a while as it also gives us the chance to connect with nature, feel relaxed and refreshed with the views and have fun together. We are really so busy at home and with each personal work, so we needed this kind of break.

I really love watching the views while riding in the motorbike. Just the sight of the mountains, the field and the sky makes me feel relaxed. However, the weather today is gloomy and it’s dripping. So worried that we might get caught by the heavy rain. Still, we continued our journey.

Our first stop is at Tinago Falls. This is the first time we came altogether. We just took a picture together with the falls as our background. If you wish to know more about Tinago, you can check my other blog post about it.

We continued to go along the road after stopping by Tinago Falls. Our next stop is Lothesa’s Place which is also one of my favorite places in the province. I love the scenery and there’s a lot of beautiful spots where you could take pictures.

After Lothesa, we finally went to the town proper which is Naval. We entered some department stores to buy few stuff and then we went to try street foods. This is always included in my bucket list whenever I visit the town.

After satisfying ourselves with our favorite street foods. We went to the baywalk where we plan to stay the rest of the time and have dinner. The town’s Fiesta is coming soon, so there’s a lot of food stalls and we decided to eat barbeque for dinner. I went to buy some other food that I crave like kimchi, fresh lumpia and a mini-Choco moist cake. I really love the night and my stomach is full with the delicious food.

After dinner, my siblings and I went to experience the Carnival. My siblings tried the Titanic for the second time while I tried the Ferris Wheel after being forced and dragged by my siblings. I am really scared of heights and after a few minutes of screaming I’m grateful to come out alive.

And that’s how we concluded the day. Thankful that we managed to get home safely.
