I BOUGHT A MYSTERY BOX OF HOT WHEELS 🎁 [Eng/Esp]

I’ve been wanting to make this kind of post for a long time, but I’m not really into buying things on Amazon or those kinds of platforms since I don’t understand a lot of it. Recently, I was at an event here in Medellín where a guy was selling mystery boxes of different things at his stand, and one box caught my attention because it was Hot Wheels.

So, after thinking about it a lot and with my wife’s permission, haha I bought this small box of cars. The guy told me he had randomly put 12 cars inside without looking, and that some of them were valuable or at least interesting. He gave me good vibes, so I wanted to support his business.

I won’t tell you exactly how much I paid for the box, but I can say that I sold 2 of the cars and with that I recovered the investment. So, I kept 10 cars in their blisters (that little package they come in). Here’s everything I got:

The box itself wasn’t Hot Wheels branded, just a regular box the guy used to pack the cars, but everything came well protected and wrapped.
As he said, there were 12 cars in excellent condition and from the official brand. The only downside is that I feel like I got a duplicate (well, it’s the same car but in another color).

🚗THE ONES I LIKED THE MOST
The first one is from the Star Wars saga. I’m not a big fan of that genre, but I thought the car was nice and it was actually one of the ones I sold. From what I can see, people really love that universe.

Then there were these 2 from the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games (they’re quite rare since, if you remember, those games didn’t actually happen because of COVID). So they’re a valuable piece of history and remind us of that difficult time for humanity.

Another cool one is from the Fast & Furious saga. I didn’t even know there was a series for that, but the car is really nice.

Overall, I really enjoyed this little experiment of feeding my collector’s itch and not knowing what I would get. If you’re an expert in this, maybe you can tell me if there’s another car in here that’s worth preserving long-term. I won’t take them out of the blisters, and maybe I’ll hang them in my study or I might end up giving them to my nephews (but I know they’ll open them).

The world of collecting is fascinating. I’m not an expert or a fanatic, but I do collect other things, and I really enjoyed this experiment I was able to try. I hope you liked it.

Saludos humanos coleccionistas como están...

Hace mucho tiempo quería este tipo de post , pero no soy mucho de comprar cosas por amazon o alguna de esas plataformas ya que no entiendo muchas cosas; así que estuve hace poco en un evento aquí en Medellin donde un chico vendía cajas misteriosas de varias cosas en su stand y me llamo esta la atención una caja ya que era de los hot wheels.

Así que después de pensarlo mucho y con el permiso de mi mujer je je je compre esta pequeña caja de coches; el chico me dijo que había metido 12 coches ahí sin mirar y que habían algunos valiosos o al menos interesantes y bueno me dio buena energia y quise colaborar con su negocio.

No te doy a decir el precio que pague por ella, pero si te digo que pude vender 2 coches de ahí con lo que recupere la inversión de la caja y bueno me quede con 10 autos en sus blister ( es esa cajita donde vienen empacados. Pero aqui te muestro todo lo que me salio:

UNBOXING
La caja no es de hot wheels, es una caja x donde el chico empaco los autos, pero todo venia bien cuidado y embalado.
Como dijo el chico llegaron 12 coches en excelente estado y de la marca oficial que el decía, lo malo es que siento que me salio un choche repetido ( bueno es de otro color ).

LOS QUE MAS ME GUSTARON
El primero es ese de la Saga Star Wars, no soy muy fan de este genero pero me pareció bonito el carro y bueno este fue uno de los que vendí. Por lo que veo la gente ama mucho este universo.

Los otros fueron estos 2 de los juegos olímpicos 2020 ( son muy raros ya que si recuerdan estos juegos olímpicos no se hicieron por el covid ), así que son una pieza valiosa de la historia y nos recuerdan esa difícil época para la humanidad.

Este también es curioso ya que es la saga Rápido y Furioso y bueno yo no sabia que existía una seria de esto. Pero esta bien bonito el coche.

En general me gusto este experimento de alimentar mi ludopatia y no saberme con que me iba a tomar. Ya si eres experto en este tema dime si hay otro auto valioso que pueda preservar por el tiempo. No los voy sacar del blister y quizás los cuelgue en mi estudio o termine regalandoselo a mis sobrinos ( pero se que los abrirán ).

El mundo del coleccionismo es interesante, no soy un experto ni un loco , pero si colecciono otras cosas y bueno me ha gustado este experimento que pude hacer. Espero te haya gustado.
