| Voici l'un des oiseaux qui m'impressionne le plus. De nombreux oiseaux sont de bons pêcheurs et font preuve de techniques très affutées. Mais le fou de bassan ajoute à sa technique une force et une vélocité incroyables. Capable de plongeon à des vitesses assez folles, de longues apnées, et doté d'une vue incroyable lui permettant de chasser aussi bien des poissons sous l'eau qu'en plein vol (exocet). Je le surprend parfois même à se servir du déplacement de mon bateau afin de guetter les poissons volant que le passage de mon bateau fait sortir de l'eau. Intelligent en plus ! |
Here is one of the birds that impresses me the most. Many birds are good fishermen and show very sharp techniques. But the bassan madman adds incredible strength and velocity to his technique. Capable of diving at crazy speeds, long apneas, and equipped with an incredible view allowing him to hunt fish both underwater and in flight (exocet). I sometimes catch him even using the movement of my boat to watch for the flying fish that the passage of my boat brings out of the water. Smart on top of that! |
