The beach is a wonderful place to go to spot birds. The change of tides washes all different sea animals on the shore that attract a lot of different birds.

Here's a Sanderling looking for food at the shore.

These Sanderlings are really quick. They run along the shore with their little legs chasing the small sea life creatures.

It's such a funny sight seeing them running.

There were quite a lot of them yesterday.

In summer the beach is loaded with seagulls. They search the beach for leftovers from visitors. Some are also quite cheeky and sometimes steal your fries right out of your hand.
This one is a European herring gul.

The next bird; a Carrion crow, isn't a specific sea bird, but also was at the beach looking for food.

And as you can see he found something. It looks like a shrimp or something.

This one looks quite satisfied now 😊
