Gifts galore on Workers Day

Hello Hello Hivians.

Do you know that today is the First of the month, specifically the first of May.

And of course the worker in me decided he wanted a gift (more of that in a wee minute)!

This year has flown already far too fast for me, I went to change the calendar behind my head where I sit and realised that it is still sat on March.

I never got round to changing it in April because the month just fluffing flew!!!

A hare for March, that is appropriate as we have mad march hares! And it is even more apt as I am mad...

What a fluffing numpty!

But back to my gift!

Rule number in life! ...... Spoil yourself

It is not being selfish!

Just like we all need some alone me time from time to time, we also need to spoil ourselves from time to time.

I must admit I often do that by just getting up off my arse and walking in nature and feeding the animals.

It sure does feel good helping others, but every once in a while we need to help ourselves....

Am I right?

I think so!

Let's Open that box ....

I know at least one person knows what was inside that box because she saw it sha isn't that right @beeeee

I am going to skip a picture in the sequence of events ....

The box has been opened and I am sure some if not most of you will have recognised it as being an Amazon box.

You can't beat the Amazon Prime delivery.

I was quite impressed with the packaging. It did come in a box, but I will show that last as it will give the game away 🤣

But I love the zippered plastic pouch it came it with the velvety feel to it!

Holy Smokes Batman it is a Holy Stone

Some of you that are into these things might know what a Holy Stone is.

I am trying wherever possible not to buy anything Chinese which ruled out dji, there is another clue as to what this is...

Alrighty then ... let's reveal some more...

Some of you might remember about this time two years ago I got a new toy ...

That toy was a fancy camera, well fancy for me anyway! It was a Canon Powershot HS70 camera and I remember the banter about it before and I after I got it.

In fact now I look back on that time, there was so much banter on Hive, where has it gone?

Time to bring back the banter and fun to Hive!

Okay so I said my toy was a camera, that must be a huge clue...

Do you have it yet .... The worker in me takes photographs for Hive etc and so this will help ....

Yessss ... It's a fluffing drone!

And is tiny and light. 249 grams of light in fact. Anything over that needs registering with the authorities and all that!

So I spent the last wee while watching tutorials about drones and how to fly them and this one obviously!

Me having never flown one is quite excited. I did have flying lessons many years but flying in a plane seems totally different.

I need to get a wee parachute for him and name him of course!

The building out of the window is Raith Rovers Football Club so I shall be zipping above to get a snap or two.

The lead image was taken from a big wheel that was in the Links Market carnivals that were here a couple of weeks ago.

To be honest seeing the pics at night made me want a drone!!!

And the wish was duly granted .... Thank you Hive for that!

Hive Power Up Day. I got into the habit of 1 Hive a day, well I got out of that habit, but I am going to get back into it. I need a partner to kick that CBA out of me ... what say you @coquicoin! I miss Traci York and her organisation of HPUD amongst all the other things she did.

In the meantime I powered up 10 Hive

And I am sitting on 8564 HP

I know I know it is small fry to most Hive accounts but I mchuffed with how well it is building. Steady as she goes!
