Hello, Silver Bloggers!

Here we are again to showcase another bunch of posts from our Silver Bloggers - it's that time when we share some of your gems.

We appreciate your posts in the community, so as long as we have posts from our Silver Bloggers, we will try to highlight some of them.

But first, let me tell you how we selected the posts.

Selection criteria

All the posts are chosen from posts in the community, and from accounts that have subscribed to the Silver Bloggers' community. Also, the topic must fit in with our general themes as set out on our community page -

a keenness to learn more about blockchain and crypto
life experiences
musings and memories of lives lived
planning for (and doing) life beyond formal work

Posts that are a response to #BOM and #SilverPrompts or any contest in the community are not considered.

The body is grateful||El cuerpo lo agradece

On January 3, I decided to go to yoga, a discipline that I abandoned about four years ago. In these three months my body has improved remarkably: the stitch in the buttock (sciatic nerve) disappeared, the cramps hardly wake me up anymore, the middle finger is giving way, it almost doesn't even trick anymore, my neck doesn't hurt anymore and my lower back, there it goes, better, better and better.

Food, to me, is far more than just "filler that will make a turd." Eating has also never been something that I would "forget," either. Frankly, I have never been able to fathom people who will say "oh, I forgot to eat" or parents who had to admonish their children "don't forget to eat!" I'm no more likely to forget to eat than I am to forget to breathe!

I just want to ask "doesn't your STOMACH tell you that you need to eat?"

Ready to Travel, but not alone...

And now the most fun part - after seeing my passport the entire family is behind me to renew theirs - they want to go to Vietnam, after seeing one of my friend's trip photos. It's not very expensive - everyone is trying to convince me :) - We should have at least one International family trip..... Oh, really !!!

The first camping trip

When we arrived at Punta de Piedras, in Margarita, we did not know how to continue to Porlamar, our destination. A generous soul gave us a tail in a truck where we were riding on top of a few sacks of potatoes. In a little less than an hour we had arrived in Porlamar, and we had kilometers and kilometers of endless beach in front of us.

While we were there, the other men approached us offering us beers, asking our names and if any of the men with us were our husbands. They introduced themselves as well, and although they were humble looking, they pulled large amounts of money out of their pockets, showed us the latest model cell phones, and even pointed out their cars in the parking lot.

Landscaping and more

THe first and only project so far is improving the center piece to our front yard which is pictured above. The center piece covers where we used to have a tree. However, the tree had to be cut down because it was rottening. This left a major bare spot after that grinded the stump down.
