RE: Beveridge Park, Scotland in Summer Time

What absolutely stunning and colorful photos! Totally unexpected for an otherwise grey and magically melancholic feeling place in the world. It's hard to imagine that summer ever touches Scotland!

This park reminds me of our beautiful "Company's Garden" in our city centre. My gran would often take me for walks there as she had a flat very close by and I spent a lot of time with her as a little girl. We'd look at the enormous Koi fish and stunning flowers, my favourite, of course was the incredible rose garden.

The Company's Garden was horribly neglected for about 20 years between 1998 and about 2018 when the City Improvement District initiative began and they started to restore the their former glory.

There are still street vendors selling bags of peanuts (which are very yummy) that are meant to feed the squirrels. The pigeons are VERY opportunistic though so you have to watch out for them!

I have yet to see the roses come back, but I also haven't been to visit for a while, about 2 years. Perhaps its about time!

Hehe we do get sun you know 🤣.

The Company's Garden sounds a magical kids. I love parks and more people just use them and smell those roses so to speak!

I think it is time you go visit again. Two years is quite a while. Your pigeons sound like our fluffing seagulls. I will shoo them away whilst feeding the other birds.
