Dear Little Me

Life is designed to continue to teach us lessons. From the very beginning to the end. We are meant to learn one or two things in our daily lives. There are things that no matter how we were told when we are little we may not be able to comprehend very much until we pass through the experience.

Hence the saying "experience is the best teacher"

For a long time ago I learned to live my life to the best of my ability as always as I can. This way I can say in my entire life I have had little to no regrets.

I strive to do my best with every opportunity life throws at me. But there are still things I learned a bit later in life which if I can meet with my ten years old right now I might share with her in hope that she can understand and apply them as she grows. Or better still write them as dairy and hope she gets to read them as she grows.

Hello Little me, you don't have to waste your precious and very limited time trying to change the world or the people in your life.

You only need to keep working on yourself, into becoming the better version of who you were yesterday. Continue to repeat the above and the world will be a better place for you and others.

I spent the larger part of my life trying to change people into seeing the world the way I see it. The good news is, I don't do that any more.

For a while Now I keep spending that time working on myself. Adding value to my life and the right people keep on showing up to me.

I will tell my ten year old to question a lot of things with an open mind as most of the things the society will tell her are nothing but pure manipulation to dominate over her. Dear little me, keep an open mind, question everything and only trust your instinct for that might be the only thing that is true.

Plan your future, never leave it to chances or for anyone else. It is you and you only that can decide how your future should be.

Be grateful always for every chance you get to wake up, be grateful for the little things of life. Enjoy what you have. Take what you need and let go of other things.

Also; don't be too in a hurry to grow up. Adulthood is a lot of work. So, Enjoy being a child as long as you can and most importantly enjoy the process of becoming an adult. Work for what you want and be grateful for the things you have no matter how little.

Continue to be kind and lovely towards others like you always do. Spread happiness to others as much as you can because your own true happiness lies on it.

And always remember that no one or anything that can ever make you feel bad or less of yourself unless you let them. For this love yourself unconditionally and always from the depth of your heart.
