Some time last year, I was taking a leisurely stroll around my parents' neighborhood one bright morning when I stumbled upon a patch of this flowering plant - "Spurred Butterfly Pea (Centrosema virginianum)", which I later found out that it's a member of the Fabaceae (legume) family.
The Spurred Butterfly Pea were already blooming. The blooms - a purple hue, added a pop of color to the lush green vegetation, captivating me instantly. Well, I took some snapshots of it.

Thereafter, I plucked a flower, and continued on my walk. By the time I was done, I noticed that it had begun to wilt. I took some snapshots of it too.

Shortly after, I grabbed a few more shots before it faded, trying to capture it's fleeting beauty.

I hope you like the photos.
