Every person goes through moments of sadness, disappointment, or uncertainty. These emotions don't define us, they simply pass through us, like clouds moving across the sky.

When I am not very happy or whenever I feel very Downcasted, one thing I do is I try to sleep and sleeping makes me feel at rest in a way, but before I sleep , I would have made sure I ate well, like eating good food, maybe even satisfying the long time craving I might had had for a while and then I sleep.
Another way I kinda handle this down feelings is to think in a positive way, we all know when one feels down it all comes from negative thoughts about things or negative feelings about how something turned out, but that doesn't mean it isn't normal, like it is very normal to have to experience this ,that shows that we are humans.
So thinking positively could greatly affect when one feels down,Reframing our thoughts takes practice. It's not about denying negative emotions but about understanding them without letting them consume us.
Speaking to the right people can actually go a long way to helping someone when they feel down, I remember one time I had some issues at school, it was pertaining to my results, I was so scared , I felt so down when I checked my result on the board , I had many of my courses mates calling me to check up on me and somehow their calls gave me strength to go tackle the problem, at the end of the day . My result was corrected and my CGPA was intact again .
Not all social interactions are equally supportive, however. It's important to surround yourself with people who uplift you, who listen without judgment, and who offer genuine encouragement,So having people of good thoughts and mind could actually help one to not feel down, somehow you become elevated by each word they say.

Also Physical activity can also be a powerful emotional regulator. Like Exercises releases endorphins, those natural mood boosters that can help shift emotional states. you don't have to do intense workout or anything stressful you might just take a walk on the road, enjoy natural breeze , or even dance to your favorite song just move your body and also yes ,music is a way to release tension from the body
Our Mental health is a journey, not a destination. Some days will be easier than other days , and that is perfectly alright.Remember that emotional management is deeply personal. What works for one person might not work for another person , and that is completely fine. The key point there is to be patient and compassionate with yourself. Treat yourself with the same kindness you would offer a good friend going through a challenging time.
