It's quite sad though, depression, with it being more popular in our generation it has become even harder to diagnose.
Some depression cases are unfounded and simply the child throwing a fit.

E fit even be hunger....

While the real case of depression is simply disregarded because apparently she/he has no reason to be depressed.

This is so true. Cases are tossed aside especially in a Nigerian household. Termed as being stubborn, lazy and even possessed by a devil. It’s laughable and very sad

The problem is because we are naturally a happy, optimistic, conservative and tolerant nation.
Hence the rising issues and claims of depression is put under the bracket of white western influence.

Arguably true...

But what if most people really had the depression and the western influence just helped us see these facts clearly...
