It also seems like some people's conscience is more vocal than others. What I've noticed about this is that those who usually ignore the barking of their conscience will consequentially get to a point where they will lose their conscience, or at least dim it.

Hahah... That's exactly how it should be.
And it comes with an clause; If we don't want to hear it very often, the best thing we can do is to stick to doing what we believe to be good, moral and worthwhile. Hehe.
