Today's game is one of the reasons we love football; I literally went through an after phase today as I watched the match between Arsenal and West Ham United. From excitement to anger and then relief. Like we all know prior to today, Arsenal needs to win their final three matches to win the Premier League after going three consecutive seasons coming second between Manchester City twice and Liverpool once. And this season seems like it's finally going to be the season we lift the Premier League, but then surprisingly we find it difficult to score against West Ham, and when we finally do, we watch them score in the dead of the match, which completely got me devastated.

If we can win the league this season, I'll be super excited, and if the Champions League comes alongside it, I'd be pleased, but if not, at least let us win something before this season runs out. Both the UCL and the Premier League would be great to win, but if one can't be won, then I'll be pleased with at least one. Let's see how it goes, but I'm wishing the team all the best, and hopefully everyone will find their form and do exceptionally well for the last three matches we've scheduled for this season, both in the Premier League and the Champions League.
To be honest, immediately when West Ham scored, I was so annoyed that I switched off the TV immediately. I mean, how can I go through three years of watching my team bottle the league consecutively, and when I finally thought we'd break the jinx, then we still conceded ridiculous goals in the final minute of the match? And that's why it's good to score many goals when you've the opportunity; unfortunately, our forwards weren't clinical today, probably because West Ham were more resilient due to their bid to escape going to relegation, but I believe we ought to do better if we want to win trophies and not just keep giving our fans hope that won't materialize to trophies.
It was even online; I finally got to find out the goal had been overturned for a foul on David Raya, and when I looked at it, I believed it was the right call because two West Ham players were literally pulling and holding Raya's hands simultaneously. Thankfully in the end we were able to see the match off with the victory, and now I can't help but hope and pray that we win our next two games against Burnley and Crystal Palace. That's what I'm most concerned about. I don't care if City win all their matches; we need to win our own matches, not pray City lose. If we truly want to lift the trophy, then the players must step up in the next two league matches and then the match against the almighty PSG.

I hope Arsenal wins the league. Not a fan, but I had hoped they win the league from the previous seasons. Hopefully, this is the season. They're doing a kind of good job so far. What if the UCL comes through too? It would certainly be one of the most (if not the most) remarkable season in Arsenal history; winning a major trophy after years and then that also which has eluded them. Let's see how the remaining two matches go. I hope they don't bottle again. Lol.
