We delivered a brilliant victory against Sunderland A.F.C. reminding them how good football is played at the Emirate stadium. From the start of the game, Mikel Arteta's boys did not hold back for a single bit, as they unleash the wrath of gunners upon their visitors. It was not a welcome gift if you ask me. Coming to their home, I am sure the Black Cats did not think for a second that they would be leaving with a 3 to zero defeat. That's Premier League for you, we are now at the point where nobody is not being friendly anymore. It is all about the point and a race for the trophy.

From the way we gave passes to one another, it was evident we were not waiting for any luck or fortune to smile upon us before we took control of the game. There is nothing like being the main character in your story and being the man that gets the job done. I guess that is what Martin Zubimendi felt after getting the player of the match. He was phenomenal on the pitch today aside from putting a goal in the net right at 42 minutes of the first half. He ended with a nice rating of 7.9 for this match
With that, the midfield was held tight despite a couple of threat from the opposition. It was not enough that we were in the lead but Sunderland also tried to put up a fight. Now they should know we did not get to the top of the table by chance rather by good play. This was not what impressed me the most but the fact that we had a back to back clean sheet. Starting from our last Premier League game against Leeds and even the EFL Cup semifinal against Chelsea where we showed them how strong we can be defensively. These are what is responsible for the smile of my face at this moment.
Our defense deserve all the accolades they are getting at the moment, thanks to their different interception of plays from the opponent and I am glad this is sending a message that Arsenal of before is not the Arsenal that is working hard at the moment. The unity in the team can be seen from the way the boys play on the pitch and hold off against every attack. Then when the opening was created, a clean finishing was carried out like what Gyokeres did in the match with his right foot shot, thanks to the assist from Kai Havertz.
Guys that is another deadly duo you all should keep an eye out for. It's going to be the next bomb. At the point of 2 goals in the lead for Arsenal, I could tell it was over and I guess the Sunderland players could as well. But no that wasn't enough for the gunners. When we see an opening, it is our gunner civic responsibility to take full advantage of that as senior boy Gyokeres did in the match at added time.
Even if possession was of equal value for both sides, the result was not. Do not forget football isn't about the possession but about the most you can do with the possession you have. I recommend you all should watch more of Arsenal's matches to understand good football.
