NEYMAR JNR, AND THE BRAZILIAN BOTTLENECK

Out of Brazil came another wonder, his name is Neymar jnr.

Well, it isn't unusual for Brazil to produce special players. It's just a God-given gift they possess. Even in the days of legendary Pele, people often forget that the Brazilian national team had other very gifted players.

So as usual, Neymar jnr began his craft early in Brazil, and by his late teens Europe began to beckon on him.

Barcelona were the front runners for his signature and signed a secret pre-agreement with Neymar.

Not long after Barcelona happened to play against Neymar's Brazilian club in the finals of the Club World Cup, which Barcelona came out trumps. Barcelona were more than convinced and happily fully signed the young prodigy, the next season, who was just 21 then.

I tell you the truth, Neymar jnr didn't disappoint! He was such an artist on the ball and made Barcelona's attack to be beastly. When he plays your heart skips with excitement.

For years the MSN trident became popular. MSN- Messi, Suarez,Neymar– led the attack for Barcelona to win trophies.

Then the hiccup in Neymar's career. The guy keeps getting injured. It's true that the most talented are the most tempted.

Give Neymar jnr just 70% of the injury free life of Messi or Cristiano and the story would have been very different today. Neymar never seemed to stay fit long enough throughout his career. But it's outstanding how he keeps clawing his way back from injury. People with much smaller injuries than the types Neymar has suffered, sometimes come back and lose some of their abilities forever. Not Neymar, he comes back and he seems even better. Outstanding! 👏 👏

Neymar was too good that the best player on the planet for me, Lionel Messi, was willing to relegate himself to announce Neymar.

At a point in Neymar's career in Barcelona, when PSG was beckoning on Neymar, Messi told him, I will make you win the Balon d'Or if you remain here. It's a well known fact that, if you play for Barcelona or Real Madrid, you have a superior advantage to win that crown and if Messi is telling you that, you don't joke with it– Messi knows how to fashion it out.

Messi was ready, ready to feed Neymar with the ball. Neymar was just too good, to go elsewhere, Messi thought.

Alas the greatest hiccup happened to Neymar, injuries were not as powerful as this one. Suddenly, a certain Brazilian free-spirited thing kicked in in Neymar jnr, somewhere in the region of his Medula Oblongata and heart region.🙂 Neymar looked at Messi and said no, looked at Barcelona and said no, that he prefers a move to PSG.

What did Neymar want in PSG? Money! He didn't have any quarrel with anyone in Barcelona, he just took his bag and left because he was to be paid something he thought should never be rejected. Ofcourse other smaller matters like him being exalted like a demigod in PSG were part of it.

Well, he'll still be fondly remembered world over, he still had a loud career and he's still so good at age 34 now, such that the coach of the national team is ready to take him to the World Cup if he is fully fit. He now plays for his boyhood club, Santos in Brazil, the vety club from which Barcelona bought him.

The most talented are the most tempted indeed.
