Yesterday, my husband bought a surprise snack for us. Even though it wasn’t yet the time for him to go home, he brought us some snack around 2 in the afternoon. My son was also surprised from the snack her father bought. It was his favorite. He bought some pizza. He was delighted and happy to see his father.

He was really craving for it, he always tells his papa that he wants some pizza, and yesterday he bought some for us. The flavor of the pizza he bought was ham and cheese. My son was really happy that he gives his father a hug and kissed and thanking him for the snack he bought for us.

I saw at the internet on how to prepare a home-made pizza just by using a pan of bread, maybe next time I will try to cooked some because it was a little bit pricey when you bought it at the market hehe.

As I was browsing the internet, someone shared a recipe on how to cooked chicken liver and gizzard in soy sauce. I suddenly crave for some, so for tonight’s dinner, I decided to cook Chicken liver and gizzard in soy sauce.

The ingredients I prepared for this recipe are ½ chicken liver and gizzard, a thumb-sized ginger, 5 gloves garlic, pepper, soy sauce, laurel leaves and oyster sauce.

In a pan, sauté the garlic and ginger, until the garlic is slightly brown add the chicken liver and gizzards. I also added the pepper and laurel leaves.

Sauté it until the oil from the chicken liver and gizzard comes out. When the meat was already cooked by its own oil, add about 2 cups of water to make the gizzard soft, I already added about 3 tablespoons of soy sauce and 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce.

Let it cook, until the water is reduced and when the sauce is already thick. It’s done.

It’s was best served with a white rice. In every Filipino dish, white rice was really a must! We have a saying when the food was really delicious, we say “taob na naman ang kaldero” or the pot will be empty again hehe.

So we had a delicious dinner again for tonight, we thank God for another blessing that we had again.

So that’s all for today my dear Hiver friend from this community who love to share their food recipes at home. Till’ next blog. Have a wonderful day to all of us.

Sincerely, @saijan19
