Mild illness can be a mild headache, seasonal flu symptoms and the list goes on and on, but timely medical treatment is still required so that such mild illness would not develop into life threatening conditions.

Martin has been serving with the Armed Force since being enlisted at the age of 18. For the past 5 years, he has served with dedication, averaging an annual medical leave record of just 1.5 days. but recently an incident that took place in his unit left Martin feeling dishearten and thus he has apply to be discharge from the force.

He woke up one day with a bad sore throat, mild fever and a weak cough. He seek medical attention and was issued with 3 days of medical leave but as the unit is currently preparing for an overseas exercise deployment and manpower is tight. Martin's commander suspected him of faking sick with mild illness symptoms so as to "escape" from the duties and the training despite his clean record over the years.
